Trotec Pac 4600: quiet and powerful

Do you want a quiet portable air conditioner?

Able to cool a room of about 40/50 square meters?

That also allows an even air diffusion for a more comfortable environment?

Wouldn’t it be bad if the air conditioner could regulate the cooling level according to a certain comfort temperature, so as to avoid useless energy waste?

So many “requests” that are punctually fulfilled by the Trotec Pac 4600. A portable air conditioner equipped with a thermostat where you can view the temperature in the room. And by activating the automatic mode, the Trotec regulates the level of cooling and ventilation in order to reach and maintain the predetermined temperature.
We would like to point out how the “diffusion of cold” is homogeneous, simply by activating the Swing mode and then the mobile fins distribute the air properly.

We are referring to a split air conditioner, this means that you have to place the condenser outside and this is an advantage in terms of silence. In fact, you can even install the Trotec Pac 4600 in your bedroom. Unlike packaged air conditioners which are better installed in other rooms because of their pronounced noise.
The Trotec Pac 4600 is really powerful, a good 14500 btu and, therefore, is able to cool rooms of 40/50 square metres. If the environment is not well insulated, it is better to use it only for rooms of 40 sqm.

Trotec Pac 4600: You choose the operating hours!

Do you want to turn on, for example, the Trotec Pac 4600 portable air conditioner for just 3 hours?

You’ll no longer need to remind yourself that it’s time to turn off your air conditioner, so you can save money on your electricity bill. Also because among the myriad of things we have to do daily, among the thoughts that cloud our minds, sometimes a triviality like turning off the air conditioner is forgotten. And the appliance remains on for who knows how long. This is avoided thanks to the 24-hour timer.

Staying on the subject of “energy saving”, we would like to point out that the estimated consumption of the Trotec 4600 is 346 kWh/year. Not an excessive figure, considering how powerful the Pac 4600 is and that it is part of the energy class B. Of course, from this point of view an A class product would have been better for further savings.
Having talked about “savings” in general, let’s now move on to the other features of the Trotec portable air conditioner:

  • It can also be used as a fan (3 ventilation levels) and dehumidifier (1.8 l/h output).
  • Self-diagnosis of anomalies: to always be informed in case of malfunctioning.
  • Clean air: thanks to the antibacterial filter that you can easily wash.
  • Easy to transport: thanks to the rollers at the bottom of the appliance.
  • Infrared remote control for remote control.
  • Maximum air flow 630 mc/h (minimum 380 mc/h).
  • Unit dimensions: internal 335 x 470 x 695 mm – external 230 x 510 x 490 mm.
  • Unit weight: internal 35 kg – external 14 kg.
  • Connection cable 3 metres long.

Trotec Pac 4600 portable air conditioner: price and final opinion

We recommend the Trotec Pac 4600 to anyone who doesn’t want the noisier monoblock air conditioners. And to anyone who wants a split air conditioner that is easier to install than fixed models.
But why would you prefer the Trotec Pac 4600 to another portable split air conditioner?
Because it is really powerful (enough to cool rooms up to 50 square meters), thanks to the thermostat it also works in automatic mode, spreads the cold evenly and you can regulate its operation throughout the day thanks to the 24-hour timer.

From a purely economic point of view we are not talking about an air conditioner within everyone’s reach, but certainly worth what it costs. And if you are interested in buying it, you can click here to check availability and review the price.
The only “flaw” can be found in the energy class B. We would have preferred a product of a higher class.
